We live in Texas and my fiancé made plans to propose when we went on vacation in Denver. He wanted a photographer for the proposal and reached out to a man that he had found online. The photographer told him that he unfortunately wouldmy be there but posted a "wanted" post on behalf of my fiancé. Kailey Medlock reached out to him by email and after exchanging numbers, my fiancé decided to hire her and made plans for them to meet at the millennium bridge in Denver for the proposal - which Kailey made the comment that she needed to meet with my fiancé before the proposal and told us that his inability to meet is why we were unhappy with her work but any individual with common sense would know that a surprise proposal is a SURPRISE. My fiancé's ability to slip away from me for an hour or two while we are on vacation together in another state is impossible. We took pictures for no longer than 30 minutes and after the proposal, it took Kailey 4 weeks to send us a CD with the photos on it after having to contact her 3 times requesting that she send them. When we received the photos, there were only 18 on the disc and they all looked like they had been edited on Instagram. One of the photos was even blacked out at the bottom to where we could only see half of the image. We understand that some photographers just don't have "it" and sometimes customers aren't happy with the product. But Kailey's inability to take photos is not why we are so displeased. After reaching out to her and saying we would send her a flash drive if she wild send us just the original photos, she went ballistic on us and sent a 7 page text message rant about why the photos weren't good. I was SHOCKED. She agreed to send the flash drive and after over a week, we reached out to her 4 TIMES before she ever text us back. At this point, she said she would not send the photos to us on the flash drive as she had agreed to before and went on another texting rant of 10 to 12 page text messages. This is the most unprofessional woman I have ever met. After 8 years of running a "business" it's clear to me why her "business" had not gone anywhere.
