I have a combined education in wellness that serves to meet a client's overall health needs. I do acupuncture to treat pain and muscle problems. I am also licensed to provide massage therapy, which can be done before the acupuncture treatment, to help ease clients into the acupuncture.

Please know that each therapy by itself is sometimes efficient, but in combination can solve what has been otherwise a constant discomfort.

Question and answer

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. For pain management I perform Massage Therapy with a combination of Deep Tissue, Tui Na (Chinese Medical Massage) Lymphatic Drainage, Sports Massage, and Hot Stones. Essential oils are also utilized to create a healing effect depending on the clients condition.
For more Chronic conditions I implement Acupuncture with E-stim depending on clients history, as well as his/her condition.
Another service that I offer is Esthetics. Esthetics combines skin care assessment as well as facials to enhance the skin. I specialize in Lymphatic Drainage facials. This type of facial benefits clients by the facilitation of lymph drainage around the cheeks, ears, and neck. At the same time, clients are getting a facial. Most people love this type of facial because they say it "clears their stuffy head".

Q. Describe three recent jobs you've completed.

A. Massage Therapy with a focus on performing Range of Motion to the upper Trapezius (shoulder) muscles.
Acupuncture with E-stim applied to the low back for slipped disc pain that leads to Sciatica.
Facial with some Cranial Sacral movements, and exfoliating mask.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Make sure that the provider is aware of what you are looking for, and is competent at providing the help you need. Ask them, "Do you think you can help, and if you're unsuccessful can you give a referral on my behalf to another provider who can help"? A client must always feel comfortable with self advocating.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. That it's not necessary to feel pain during a Massage. More often than not, less is more in life and in health.

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. Do you find your patients/clients are right most of the time?

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. If they are in pain.
If they have limited Range of Motion.
If they feel stressed, and need to relax.
If they have the time for the service.
If they care about themselves enough to take care of a problem.
If they have the funds to pay for the service.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. I truly love people, and want to see them feel great!

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. Helping other people.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. Do you accept insurance? Yes, some of them.
Can you come to my house? Yes I can with notice.
Can you make the pressure of the Massage Deeper? Yes I can.
Can you ease up the pressure on this Massage? Yes I can?
Do we have to use a head rest (stuffy noses)? No we can use a pillow.
Does Acupuncture hurt? It shouldn't. Let's do one and see how you react. Everyone has been happy so far.

Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?

A. Yes! It takes a while to get known in this type of business.

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. I broke my tailbone, and couldn't get pain relief despite many forms of healthcare. Acupuncture with E-stim worked!

Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?

A. Yes, CEU's in Healthcare are a must for continued licensure.
