Question and answer

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Ask questions about the length and types of treatment available, experience of therapists, membership contract details, services offered and their benefits. Look for memberships like ABMP or AMATA.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. Communication is key! Ask for your treatment to be customized for you. Communicate throughout the treatment with your therapist- ask for more or less pressure, temperature adjustments, more work in a specific area.

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. What can you expect during a session. What are some of the side effects and or benefits of a particular treatment. How often should you receive massage and body treatments for maximum cumulative benefits. How many treatments do you anticipate needing before seeing improvement in a chronic condition, especially for pain and injury treatments.
