- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have but, not recently. In the near future i wish to pursue certification in several modalities (including re-certifying myself in current modalities) including Board Certification, Neuromuscular or Myofascial Therapy, Sports, Injury, Medical Massage therapy, Reflexology, Trigger Point therapy, Hot and Cold Stone therapy, rehabilitation massage, soft tissue release, Samato Emotional Release (SER), Trauma Therapy, Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF), Kinesthetic, Chair Massage, Business/Marketing, Active Isolated Stretching, Assessment/Documentation/SOAP, and Structural Integration and possibly more.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I needed a career and loved hands-on work. I was going back to school (college) and didn't want to be a broke student (that didn't work). I got into it a career transition into one day being a basketball coach and now I love it and I will do both!
