Question and answer

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Don't choose a skin care professional, hairstylist and/or make-up artist based solely on price.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. Many stylists work in a busy, fast-paced salon. What makes me different is that I have a home-based Spa with a very relaxed, but professional atmosphere and one on one attention. I can also travel to my clients and provide services in the comfort of their own home. And I have availability 7 days per week.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. What I like most about my job is that I can earn a living doing what I love! If you are doing what you are passionate about, it's less like a "job" even though I work hard.

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. I had an interest in make-up from a very young age. I attended Joe Blasco's Make-up Center in Hollywood CA at age 18 to become a Make-up Artist. Several years later I attended Sharon Doran's Academy in Denver for cosmetology.

Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?

A. I take continuing education classes as often as possible. I feel it is very important in the ever changing business of the beauty industry.

Q. What are you currently working on improving?

A. I have been attending classes in LA to update my skills in Airbrush and HD make-up products and application. Healthy skin is beautiful skin. I'm working with my clients to educate them about skin. The better they understand and take care of their skin the less make-up they will need to conceal imperfections.
