- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, I started my education going to Colorado Mountain College after high school but because people no longer wanted film photography I got a visual communication degree a few years ago to learn more about digital media and how to use all that Adobe Master Collection had to offer. Since I am a business owner I continued my education and got an MBA in business management.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I worked at a few different photography studios as before going out on my own . I photographed mostly babies, children's and families for 3 years From there I worked for three different wedding photographers as a contract photographer for another three years. I started my own photography business around 1990 in Phoenix, Arizona for seven year. I then went on the road for about of a year shooting glamour shots in small towns to try something different. I now have been shooting mostly wedding in Colorado for around 9 years.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
The best way to know if we are a good fit is to have us do an engagement sitting. Talk is cheap but I can show you what I'm all about by a simple mini session and if we are a good match on your engagement sitting. You see what kind of service I provide and how quickly my turnaround time is. You will also get to see my expertise in editing your images. Many couples hire me after having a bad experience with the photographer who they originally hired to shoot their wedding.
