Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. Many small businesses that need a DCAA compliant accounting system try to run them using their normal accountant and/or bookkeeper. While all of the government requirements are public documents, there is such a large number of inter-mingled documents that you really need a bookkeeper and accountant that have experience with the government "maze".
