Please avoid this business at all costs. I am writing this so that no further harm happens to any other person or animal. The business owner threatened to starve and release my horse on to the street after he had become injured under her supervision and could no longer work as a lesson horse for her. It specifically says in the lease agreement that if my horse was injured while at her facility that she would cover the costs of a vet, boarding and feeding for the duration of the injury. She signed a lease and agreed to this. Once my horse became injured at her facility she called me and demanded $400 immediately as my horse could no longer work for her. When I referred to the lease to show that this was in violation of our agreement she threatened to let my injured horse out on a busy street and then threatened to starve him. This business owner is dangerous and does not care about hurting people or animals only about money. I wish that I had been warned so that I could have avoided this situation and a potentially very harmful situation for my horse so I am writing this so others can avoid any other future harmful situation with this business owner.

I wish I had read the reviews before taking lessons. My daughters took 5 lessons with Sharon, and I will not be going back. The only reason I gave 2 stars rather than 1 is that my girls had a good time. My daughters are almost 6 and 7 and have not had riding lessons before. Apparently, an assistant was needed, so I filled that role (unasked). I would be the first to admit that I am no horse expert, but I am comfortable around horses so I was willing for the sake of my kids to give it my best. Sharon was condescending, reprimanded me for having the wrong shoes (on the first lesson when I became the assistant), and I found generally unpleasant. I would also echo other reviewers who had safety concerns. The horses spook when the trash comes, so we were almost trampled. One of the horses also was biting another which meant my daughter nearly fell off. To repeat, we will not be going back, and I would recommend you not go either.

It was terrible. For $105, $50 for my nephew and $55 for me - we got yelled at in the ring and then the only riding we did was up and down 1 residential street. A total rip off. I expected a short lesson and then an actual ride. My nephew was so excited when I picked him up but almost cried after being yelled at by Sharon. If you can't trust people on short rides you shouldn't offer them on your site. At the end my nephew commented that its horseback riding not horseback yelling. Save your money and go to a more established stable where you can get a real lesson or just go out on a real ride. This is supposed to be an enjoyable experience not stressful.
