Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Interior Design can be considered a luxury and not everyone can afford it. BUT I PROMISE it will be the best investment you will make. Instead of buying that $600.00 new chair that you THINK will help, call me and I will prevent that un-necessary spending and assist you with LOVING what you already have!
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. I have a special niche! I design WITH you, not for you. I shop at several different locations to combine a very unique and personal space. I also prefer working with what my clients already have! This is my biggest design request and my clients LOVE the end result!
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. The end result. The look on my client's face when I am finished. 100% Satifactin Guaranteed and extremely glad they hired TL DESIGNS to design their space!
Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A. They usually ask if I work with a budget in mind. My answer is and always will be, "of course"...and I usually come in UNDER their budget! This is why they keep calling... :)
Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?
A. YES! I did a "while you were out" design for one of my clients. It was their 50th wedding anniversary and their daughter hired me to redesign their Formal Living, Spare Bed and Bath, Formal Dining and Kitchen. It looks AMAZING! When they got home and walked in the door, my client started crying! I was nervous...I wasn't sure if she was disappointed or extremely happy....thank GOODNESS she was the latter! They both loved everything! It was by far my most memorable Design Moment!
Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?
A. That it is truly a GIFT. Interior Design is something that can not be learned. I mean, the technical things, yes, but not how to make a room visually appealing with texture, color, shapes, lighting, etc.....it's Artform.
Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?
A. Ever since I was in high school, I knew I wanted to be an Interior Designer. I visited my boyfriend's aunt in Vail, Co who was an Interior Designer and after that weekend, I KNEW that that is what I wanted to do. I LOVE what I am able to do and all I want to do is share my gift with others!
