I just met Russ at the Gilpin Street Address in Denver and the Intro-Session went well. Russ has the background, interests, and skills I'm seeking to learn more from so I'm going to try out Sollohub for awhile. In my case, I learned some technique oriented things like how to angle your hand while finger-picking, how to stretch out your hand muscles for warming up, and how to double-pick using the I and M fingers for a small section in a piece I'm working on from Assassin's Creed III. The Gilpin Street Address is very nice; you wait downstairs in a cozy room for your instructor to finish up and come down. Great location and facility. Jeff is the fellow who manages the instructors and arranges schedules. I had no problem contacting him and setting up my first trial lesson. My only wish is that it were possible to get some weekend lessons but you can't have everything.

I started taking lessons here about a year ago. My instructor was fabulous and well informed. I have not had any formal music training before going to sollohub school of music, and have progressed nicely since going there. My instructor is very patient and encouraging.

Come in for a free trial lesson to see if you like it (no pressure to sign up, no sales pitch). After you've had the lesson and time to think about it, if you want to continue just contact us and we will keep things going.

Simply put, we have the best teachers to be found anywhere. A school of any kind is little more than its staff so the process of picking our instructors is very thorough and rigorous. Having been in the Music Education business for over 25 years, we are confident that we have the very best instructors, all under one roof.
