Mary is recognized for her ability to translate a corporate image into corporate action. John McAfee hired Mary in 2002 to develop and promote the Relational Yoga Mandiram. McAfee built his successful business on fighting the computer virus, and felt the same passion to protect the soul.
As a result of Mary’s leadership, McAfee’s philanthropic passion was spread throughout the nation with a planned expansion of special events: silent retreats, breath works (Kriyas), and other catered programs.
Thousands of individuals were exposed to the world of breathing and silence. Integrating the lessons of yoga into daily life became a charitable outreach and the masses began to learn the meaning of ‘self’. Yoga Masters from around the world traveled to Colorado to attend the Relational Yoga Mandiram events.
Incorporating personal values of a yoga practice into a business expansion placed Mary Bhim-Rao as a respected leader as both a practitioner and a business woman. Founder of Yoga with Mary, based in Chipita Park, Colorado, Mary has applied her intuitive understanding of spiritual practice and business acumen toward the promotion of teaching yoga.
Yoga with Mary has been instrumental in developing an extensive outreach to addicts and alcoholics in the recovery community, as well as to establish a strong educational presence in teaching yoga to elementary students. Seminars on the ‘Reduction of Stress’ in the work place proved a welcome event at Yoga with Mary.
