Dave did some tile work for us a few months ago (laundry room, multiple bathrooms). He was very easy to work with, great price, showed up on time, and did great work. I highly recommend him to anyone considering getting tile work done.

Dave did a good job. He was very efficient... was on time... did the work in the time he said ...gave me a fair quote ...and very responsive to my emails/questions. He was careful of the mess... took all the trash with him... put paper on the floor ... cut tile the tile out side.... I would hire him again!

Dave Moore did some tile work in our basement. We have been working with several contractors, and Dave is the one I would happily refer to other people and call back if we need additional tile work. He is knowledgeable, competent, fair, and did a fantastic job.

Dave was great to work with. He was willing to take over and complete a job that had already been started by me. In a day and a half he tiled the shower, installed the under-layment and tile in the bathroom and tiled a kitchen back-splash. He was happy to replace a couple of floor tiles in the bathroom that were slightly off tone with the rest of the stock and also fixed some damaged slate in the foyer with no additional charges. He came exactly when he said he would.and did more than would have been expected. I would gladly use him again in the future and would recommend him to any-one looking for a tile installer. Price was right in range with other quotes we got.

I typically price the job by how long it will take to complete.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will typically travel to my customers home to view the project to be tiled. From there I will create an estimate that is accurate. If there are questions or concerns about material, patterns or layout I will work with the customer to find the best product and design for them.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was in a Tile helper program where I was trained by four different journeyman tile setters and apprentice tile setters for a six month period each. I then moved to an apprentice where I was trained by three different journeyman tile setters for a period of one year each. I have attended several TCNA (Tile Council of North America) seminars so I could stay up to date on the new technology and technical updates. I have a certification in moisture mitigation and self leveling toppings. I have a tier 2 moisture testing certification. I am a certified Corian fabricator and installer.
