- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I typically price the job by how long it will take to complete.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will typically travel to my customers home to view the project to be tiled. From there I will create an estimate that is accurate. If there are questions or concerns about material, patterns or layout I will work with the customer to find the best product and design for them.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was in a Tile helper program where I was trained by four different journeyman tile setters and apprentice tile setters for a six month period each. I then moved to an apprentice where I was trained by three different journeyman tile setters for a period of one year each. I have attended several TCNA (Tile Council of North America) seminars so I could stay up to date on the new technology and technical updates. I have a certification in moisture mitigation and self leveling toppings. I have a tier 2 moisture testing certification. I am a certified Corian fabricator and installer.
