As a Colorado native, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my husband and our two wonderful boys. In fact, Pier 9 was inspired from our travels to Hawaii. A true “visual oasis” at its best! The beauty and captivating scenery left a lasting impression, and a philosophy that I continue to deliver in all my work.

Prior to starting Pier 9, I worked within the real estate, mortgage and restaurant industries to develop creative concepts. I have extensive experience in trade show promotions, which translates nicely into all other areas of graphic design. In fact, my visual communication pieces have been featured at over 70 prestigious events in Colorado.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. The graphic designer you choose should take the necessary time to learn about your business, discuss your wants, needs, struggles and success. Also, learn about your current and previous marketing messages. Graphic design should be custom to you and your brand, not a one-size fits all cookie cutter approach.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. Will my logo be custom? Be cautious on choosing a designer based on price, other people may be using the same work. Understanding their work ethic, policies, the duration and timeline of your project.
