I am a private guitar instructor who is looking for dedicated students of all ages and levels. Learn your favorite songs, music theory, playing techniques, speed, solo writing, and songwriting.

I am teaching in Castle Pines and Castle Rock. I travel to your house for your convenience. I do have a handful of students who come to my house for lessons that live in The Meadows in Castle Rock.

I also have a small recording studio if you are interested in recording.

I have 22 years of playing experience and 8 years of full-time teaching experience. I teach both acoustic and electric guitar.

My rates are $30 for a 30-minute lesson and $40 for a 40-minute lesson.

Please email me for any other detailed information.

Question and answer

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Make sure the teacher is experienced. Obviously, a guitar teacher that is just starting out is not going to be as good as a teacher that has been instructing for eight years. Likewise, a guitar teacher that teaches as a hobby or as a side job is not going to be as knowledgable and as organized as a full-time teacher. From my view and past experience, teachers that teach at music stores come and go and are not as reliable week to week.
Asking the guitar teacher for references is also a great idea. You can talk to his other students on the phone or through email and get curious information.
