About Erin Bogar Personal Training

I was a Division I collegiate cross-country and track athlete at the University of Colorado. After graduating with dual degrees in Integrative Physiology and Spanish, I completed a year-long physical therapy assistant position. From 2008-2012, I worked as a master personal trainer at The Denver Athletic Club. In 2013, I worked as a personal trainer at Club 360 in Tokyo, Japan.

My goal is to help my clients reach their maximum physical potential. I believe that everyone is physically capable of more than they realize.

A. Weight loss, injury prevention, running strength training, general strength and conditioning, flexibility training, running injury prevention

A. Try out different trainers and find one who you get along with well and who makes you excited to reach your health and fitness goals.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. Be proactive with your health. Do not wait for injury to sideline you. Live an active life, move well and move often.

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. Ask your fitness professional about their experience in the field. Ask them about past and present clients. Finding out what type of people they have a trained and they currently train is a great way to see if they've helped people similar to you reach their goals.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. I begin all my sessions with the functional movement screen and posture assessments. Through these assessments I can see what injuries my clients are prone to and help them reach their fitness goals by building a foundation on correct biomechanics.
