- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Even after receiving my Associates degree there is also mentoring sessions, and continual classes to stay up on new technology advances in the industry. The education in this industry is a constant, I will never stop learning.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Right now in the photography industry there is a bunch of image theft. People are using other photographers' images in their portfolio if they don't have enough to show so that they will get hired. This is a massive copyright issue but they are still doing it. To guarantee that you are seeing their work ask to see an entire wedding gallery or an entire session. The wedding gallery should have close to 400 images and the session gallery should have close to 20, you aren't suppose to evaluate all of them but this will give you an idea of their work in its entirety and if they say they can't do that then they have probably stolen their images.
