Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. In order to obtain images you can live with you must know three things. First, when are the people you intend to photograph most likely to be comfortable being photographed? Second if they are camera shy in the least it would be very smart to have the photographer meet the family before the photo session. And third, be clear in your discussion with the photographer. Set yourself up for success by feeding kids before the session, don't think you can control the situation, let the photographer do his job. You aren't there for perfection. Excellence is a better goal.
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. Outstanding work comes from previsualizing the situation. If you think the photographer can control the weather, physical health, or the movements of the moon then it is time to rethink the photo concept.
I have 30 years of professional experience with designers, advertising and editorial work. Success is mostly possible when there is good preparation, project and time management, and a clear goal. Good photography is a skill that cannot be exactly quantified.
