Question and answer

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Transmission Super Stores offers a FREE Trans Check before any repairs are performed. All transmissions we build and install come with a 3 Year/100,000 Mile Warranty at no additional charge.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. How complicated a transmission is and how much damage can occur while continuing to drive with transmission problems. Repair costs can become very expensive if transmission problems are not caught early on. Having a great warranty included in the purchase price is great protection for the customer, if the repair shop offers a 12 month/12,000 mile warranty for transmission repairs and charges for an additional 3 year/100,000 mile or longer term warranty should create some concerns about the quality of the repair.

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. How long have the technicians been in the automotive industry that will be performing the repairs? Is there a charge for the initial Diagnosis? What type of warranty is standard on the repairs performed?
