A. Door installations, complete basement finishes

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR if you get a few estimates and check references it will pay off in the long run

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. Speed and lots of workers doesn't equal quality

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. Time to meet at the job and go over all options

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. It simple customer satisfaction. I am the owner and I am there everyday doing the work from the grunt work to the fine carpentry work and I won't do a job halfway no shortcuts.

A. The fine detailed carpentry work

Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?

A. A recent customer had a contractor redo the trim in her sunroom because there was some water damage he claimed to fix the problem and she was out $1000. 3 years later the water damage was back and I was called i inspected the sunroom and told her she had hail damage on her roof and that the skylights gutter and roof were the problem. Her insurance agreed the problem was taken care of and now there is no leaks and i then took care of the damaged drywall and trim Knowing it will not be a problem again makes me feel good.

A. I take a lot of pride in the work I do. I brag to friends about how good your job looks

A. I have always enjoyed building thing

Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?

A. Some

Q. What are the latest developments in your field? Are there any exciting things coming in the next few years or decade that will change your line of business?

A. Manufactured materials like Mdf and Ultra-lite and energy saving materials change thing all the time Ultra-lite materials paint up really nice and are straight and consistant

Q. Describe your most recent project, what it involved, how much it cost, and how long it took.

A. It was a 700 sqft basement finish $26,000 and it took 45 days
We removed old flooring then leveled the floor, framed walls and insulated, drywalled and textured walls we also installed new hardwood flooring and tile installed doors and trim. I built 2 cabinets, 2 built in book cases, a built in bench seat / toybox and a custom entertainment center for a 46" flatscreen tv

A. Don't be a hack do it right or don't do it
