A. Always check the website! If it doesn't look like your "potential dj" has a good website, they're probably not going to be your best choice.

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. How long have you been in business? What types of events have you performed for? Do you have a website? Can I see you perform anywhere before I hire you? Do you have an agent? Are you willing to travel? Can you provide a sound system? Can you provide lighting? Do you have a minimum of performance hours? Do you have a maximum of performance hours?

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. What you have to spend? How many people you expect to attend? Do you want the focus to be on the DJ or do you see your event as more of a "cocktail party" less focus on the performer? Will I be hosting the music inside or outside or both? What music styles will be best suited for my event? Is there a power source near the performance location?

A. I feel that entertainment is what I was born for. I never get tired of the smiling faces and positive energy from the dancing people. I use that energy to create a totally unique mix of music as well as motivation for my daily life. Who can complain about a job that provides happiness to others and allows me to do what I love?
