I do face painting primarily for children, but I can do other events as well. I worked for Six Flags Elitch Gardens as a face painter, so I have professional training.
I have pictures of my work posted on Photobucket, which is at the link for my website.

Sarah is just awsome! She did the face painting for my 4 year old's princess/super hero party and the kids loved her, & their faces looked so cute - she painted puppy faces, unicorns, spiderman faces, princess crowns, etc. She was prompt, pleasant & very professional. I highly recommend her for any event you might be planning!

A. Parties, such as birthday parties, block parties, things like that.
A. Be specific about the time and location of the event from the beginning, because that's how I know if I can do the event or not.
A. Make sure the person you hire is patient with kids. It's very common for children to squirm and move and that can be very frustrating for face painters.
A. About how many children will be there, and whether or not they want to pay me a flat hourly wage or if they want their guests to pay me on an individual basis.
A. I'm not just an amature, I've worked with Kamman's Art Shoppes.
A. It's a great creative outlet, and I like working for myself.
A. How long have you been face painting? 4 years.
What do you need the money for? College.
A. It's not uncommon for the parents to want their child to get a face painting and the child absolutely refuses. It's funny to see the reversed positions.
A. That I use very high quality paint, because it's way more important than one would expect, and many face painters use cheap paint that doesn't look as good and is more difficult to wash off.
A. I worked at Six Flags Elitch Gardens, and I figured since I have the skill, why not?
A. I worked at a large block party and all the children got their faces painted well before the time allotted was over.
A. I look for new ideas online pretty often, and I make sure my supplies are the best.
A. There's not really a whole lot of new developments in face painting. It's a pretty basic line of work, that doesn't have a whole lot of room for innovation.
A. Getting all of my supplies cost about one hundred dollars, and it took a lot of research and shopping around because the products aren't available just anywhere.
A. I go either by an hourly rate, or by a person by person basis. Everything is by donation. I don't have a sales tax license, so legally I can't charge a specific amount, but instead ask for donations within a certain range.
A. Invest in good paint, and make sure you understand that the face is a canvas, and treat it as such when you're painting.
A. What is the best way to contact me? The best way is by email. My email address is sarah@milmoe.com
