I needed legal counsel on a matter of marriage dissolution and spousal maintenance. Cody responded quickly and we coordinated a phone consultation. Hire this man. When all the other lawyers want to take you for all you are worth and are hard to get in contact with, Cody was quick and responsive during a time when I needed a lawyer's representation asap. Even though it was what seemed like a minor traffic infraction, Boulder Police bulldogged me by calling incessantly and even came to my house to try and get ahold of me to prove guilt. For me, someone who doesn't even have a speeding ticket, it scared me to death. I contacted Cody and he was quick to fix the situation at a fraction of the cost of other lawyers quotes. He was extremely fair and fixed a situation that could have been 12 points and a driver license suspension, into a $150 ticket and 1 point on the record. Hopefully I won't need another lawyer in the future, but if I do, I am absolutely hiring Cody again for my case.

I am going through divorce on a case that has been going on since 2014 and we are in 2019. I have changed over 5 lawyers so far, horrible lawyers, with no ethical conduct. I searched and searched in google, interviewed so many lawyer and I came across Cody. I am extremely pleased with his service. Based on my experience, he is the best lawyer I ever had to take over my case. He takes the calls himself, he does all the work himself, no paralegal work none of that b.s stuff, gets right back to you, straight forward on the issue. Cody was very pleasant to work with. He was understanding of all of the variables in my circumstances. He had compassion for me as a person, not just a standard client. The integrity he displayed is unmatched by anyone else that I have dealt with in regards to my situation. He was able to come to a compromise for many of the difficult agreements that we struggled with, without me having to concede to large losses. He exceeded my expectations of using both his time and my money wisely. When facing adversity from the other party, he handled it in a very professional manner and was able to come to an amicable settlement of the dispute. I offer competitive rates and flexible payment options. I frequently discount monthly invoices which can result in hundreds of dollars saved by the client over the course of the case.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first thing we do with a new client is have a discussion about goals and expectations for their case. After we understand what the client is looking for, we craft a cost-conscious plan to meet those goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I received my JD from the University of Illinois and I've been practicing law since 2015. I have worked on at least one hundred divorce/custody/family cases and at least one hundred criminal cases. I do continuing legal education to make sure I'm up-to-date on changes in the law and best practices.
