- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I continue to learn of new products, it seems, almost daily. Whether it is the latest and greatest composite fence, ornamental iron fence or small piece of hardware. I am constantly researching new products to lower costs as well as provide the best solution for unique problems. I feel that researching and installing new products is the best way to educate yourself on the specific product and our line of work overall.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started this company after fencing all through high school and for a few years afterwards. I believed I had more to offer this industry than strictly installation and have enjoyed what I do ever since. I still do get in the field and gets my hands dirty when possible and love seeing the finished product.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Our most common types of jobs are cedar and chain link. We typically install chain link for commercial use although we often install it for dog runs. Wood fences are by far the most common for homeowners. Whether it is a cedar privacy fence or a ranch rail fence most homes are best served with a wood fence.
