Question and answer

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. When it comes to a project we are fully dedicated to one project at a time. We are not a large company so when we are on your project yours is the only project that we will be doing a that time so there wont be any delays on our end and nothing will interfere with us getting finished on time. That is if there isn't any unforeseen changes to the original scope of work. We Pride ourselves on the satisfaction of our customers.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. What we like about our job is building something that we are proud of and the satisfaction of our costumers. We like to see our costumers joy in seeing there new space that we have created. Most of the crew have been doing this for over 10 years and they all are very skilled craftsmen and love what they do.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. How long is the project going to take?

All projects take different amounts of time. It depends on the unseen things. In all projects there are unforeseen events that can prolong the project. It can very depending on what we are doing such as cracks in the concrete in a basement remodel or bad wiring in a kitchen. What we try to do is if there is a delay in the project we will notify the customer as soon as possible and tell you what kind of time frame it will be. We hope that all of our projects don't have any delays but sometimes you will have problems and we try to keep things as smooth and as on time as possible.

Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.

A. Last month we were hired by a homeowner to rebuild her kitchen and her bathroom that were destroyed by water damage. This was and insurance claim and anyone who has ever dealt with insurance companies knows that they are a pain. They gave her an amount to replace the flooring and some of the cabinets. We were able to replace all the cabinets and upgrade on the flooring and the cabinets by just letting her pay wholesale for the materials and she was able to keep some of the money. We do not want to make money on the materials so there is no up mark on any of ours the customer just pays for the labor.

Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?

A. As with most companys we are always trying to give the best product to our costomers. We are always looing at different and better systems to install that will be more cost effient to our homeowners. Right now we are trying to be as green as possible and thrue that we are trying to use as many eco frendly products there are. Every week it seems there is an improovement on one or more of the products we use and in turn the homeownere gets the best bang for there buck. We will always strive to give the best product we can in a basement, kitchen or bathroom.

Q. Describe your most recent project, what it involved, how much it cost, and how long it took.

A. We finished a 1100 sq ft basement for $33,000 and it took us 5 Weeks. The homeowner wanted a separate heating system for the basement, two bedrooms, 1 bathroom and a entertainment room. The basement was bare-bones with nothing in it and that made it easy for us to hit the ground running. The amount of wiring that we had to put in the basement was astonishing with all the high tech gear that they were going to put down there. For soundproofing we used resilient channel and insulation in the joists above. For the floor instead of tile or carpet we used a cementitious topping and acid stained it and it turned out magnificent. We did built ins in the media room and in one of the bedrooms/offices.
