Introduction: Chelsea Jones Design has over 20 yrs. experience. There's a reason we are still around, we have fun and do great work. Kathryn is great to work with. She does what she says she'll do, when she says she'll do it, for the price you have agreed on. Kathryn even returns phone calls and emails, something we've found is not aways the case. This should be a good and exhilarating experience for you, and we want to make sure that's how it goes. Art is fun. Most people don't go into graphic design to get rich, though I hear some do :-) When I first entered the University of GeorgiaI I was a painting a drawing major. After my sophomore year my family moved to Arkansas and I spent a year working at a Timex factory. It was eye opening, like a cross between a women's penitentiary and high school. When I returned to school at the University of Arkansas, I quickly changed my concentration to Graphic Design, with a minor in photography and art history. Loved it and excelled. My art has been supporting me ever since. AND I'M HAVING THE TIME OF MY LIFE.

From bland to brand in 7 days! 2013 in CJD AND PMC Kathryn Jones of Chelsea Jones Design and Jennifer Smoldt of Precision Marketing & Communications, just completed a complete brand package for a client in only one week -- including logo, tagline, brand positioning and research, website content, website redesign, business cards and sell sheets. The client looks professional, credible, and now has the tools they need to grow their business.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Do some homework... know your budget, what you like, examples are always good. Pricing is a difficult part of our job as designers, as good design is subjective and multifaceted. The more information the client can provide the designer budget, timelines, examples, expectations, likes, hates...the better the communication between client and designer. The result: not only will the client get what they need, but also something they love. It should be a good experience for both client and designer. Art is fun.
