Question and answer

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. I am a branding expert, and I specialize in corporate image development - for companies large and small. Logos, marketing plans, collateral, advertising... I do it all!

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. I have a degree in architecture - which heavily influences my work. In architecture, function comes before form, which is a great way to think about graphic design. What does a client need? What does the design have to do? Where does it go? My passion for luxury branding also really stands out - my clients get luxury-level work for reasonable prices.

Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?

A. In graphic design, you get what you pay for. If you are building your dream business or beginning a re-brand, you need to consider your logo or design services as an investment in your future. Spend too little and you might have to update it within a year or two - and some of the greatest logos have been in use for 20+ years.

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. I've been around art and graphic design since birth - my mother is a graphic designer and my grandmother is an art historian.

Q. Describe your most recent project, what it involved, how much it cost, and how long it took.

A. I just did a corporate image guidebook for a Los Angeles-based design collective. I designed a logotype system, I art-directed the website design, and developed an entire collateral system. It cost the client $750.
