Candace and her team have been wonderful! I am very picky and gave some feedback at first about things that I wanted done differently. She was super responsive and eager to please me. They work hard and care about really making things clean and sanitary. Theirs is not just a surface clean.

I always look forward to the day that Conscious Karma Cleaning visits my home! That is exactly what it feels like, a visit. They take care of my house & love my dogs as if they were theirs. Conscious Karma Cleaning has been taking care of my home for some time now. I have bi-weekly service on the whole house, including a rental in the basement.
Candice has been very helpful with my clean times and scheduling. She and her staff pay close attention to detail. It is very reassuring to have a cleaning company that is reliable and friendly, that you can trust.

Conscious Karma is excellent! You can feel their cleaning. It's done with care, attention, and love. And the owner of the company has her full heart in this. This isn't the usual "just get it done" kind of service. If you want your home nurtured, and you want to enjoy personalized, customized service at reasonable rates, give them a call. I'm not working for them....I'm just really impressed. It's obvious this company wants to succeed and they deserve to!

Conscious Karma Cleaning and Services did an exceptional job cleaning our home. Everything sparkled and smelled great when I got home. They are very professional and courteous. I would recommend them to anyone wanting a thorough, well cleaned home. They just don't do a basic clean. They are a step above the other cleaning companies. Other cleaning companies charge extra for certain features in their services, those special items are a standard practice for Conscious Karma Cleaning. They have respect for their client's home just as they respect their own home. I felt my home was in great hands while I was away. I never worried that someting would be broken or stolen. They've been so easy to work with, very accomodating to my schedule AND pocketbook. My entire house alway looks amazing when I get home right down to the last detail. So much so that the first time they cleaned I walked in to my shower door and banged my head not realizing it was there because it was SO clean. They always give 110% (the extra 10% is the treats they leave for my dogs!!)

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Make sure you hire a company that is licensed, insured and bonded. Meet with them in person prior to hiring. After all you are trusting them with your prized possessions and the key to your home, in many cases.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. There really aren't many inside secrets. The key is to hire a company you feel comfortable with and can trust.

Make sure you meet with them in person before you hire them. I don't know how a company can realistically offer a quote on cleaning a house without seeing it first hand. The length of time to clean a house depends on level of dust, etc in the home, does the client have pets, how many bathrooms, how many bathrooms have glass shower stalls, jacuzzi tubs, and most of all how many and what type of knick-knacks does the client have, etc. It really depends on these things more than square footage.

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. The key here is to set expectations. Sometimes if this isn't done, the client will expect one thing and the cleaner may offer something different and unfortunately, it can cause frustration and disappointment.

Questions to ask:
How detailed is the service?
What is included with the level of service provided? What things are included with a Basic Clean vs. a Deep Clean?
Does the service offer eco-friendly cleaning?
Do they support any charities?
Do they offer other services related to the home?

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. We make a strong effort to get to know our clients on a more personal level. What are those areas that drive them nuts? Are there areas we should avoid? Hiring a cleaning service is a lot like hiring a new hair dresser. You have to determine what those areas are that are important to the client as they do differ from client to client.

In addition to getting to know what makes each client happy, we also add little personal touches that say we care. We can't tell you what those are as that would give it away.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. We are not in the cleaning business only because we like to clean houses or businesses. Cleaning a person's home or business is a privilege and a chance to offer some stress relief and time the client would normally spend cleaning to instead enjoy that time with friends and family.

The goal in cleaning a client's home is to have them go "ahhhhhh" when they walk in the home. They should feel calm and relaxed, less stressed and happy. That is what keeps us going.
