Question and answer

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. If you are looking for a massage therapist that is right for you, then here are some tips to help you out.
1: Therapist should be knoladgeable and certified to do massage in your state.
2: Therapist should listen to your needs and wants and find a plan best for you, not do the same massage for each person.
3: You should feel conformable with the therapist who is taking care of your body.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. I wish I knew how a massage session is run befor my first session.
This is how it is run:
The session starts with an introduction and a description of how the client is feeling. What areas need worked on and what would be best to make the pain go away.
The therapist repeats the problem and describes how they intend to fix the problem
Then any questions that arise are answeres.
Then the therapist leaves and the client gets undressed to their comfort level and gets in-between the sheets on the table. The therapist will knock to see if the clien is ready, if the client says they are ready then the therapist will enter.
The therapist will unseals only the area being worked on and will redrape that area when finished.
When the time is up the therapist will leave the room while the client gets dressed and the client will open the door when they are done.
Then the client schools tell the therapist how they feel. Then pay the therapist and tip the therapist if they feel they did a good job.

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. Dose the therapist know what they are talking about?
Is the therapist honest?
Dose the therapist listen to your needs and do what you need and not what they want?
Do you feel comfortable with the therapist and their modalities?
What do they charge?
Where will the massage take place and is it a safe place?
