We are now offering a unique, non-invasive technique that offers real pain relief and lasting results.
We address a specific problem within the body, clear the muscle memory and re-educate the muscle by stretching with stimulation to each muscle along a specific nerve root.

This is not a massage technique. We do not use lotions or oil and you remain fully clothed. Sessions can last 15-45 minutes depending on the pain issue.

This was the best hot-stone massage I've ever had. It was really a combination of the stones and the best of a regular deep massage, so two-for-one. Blue Orchid is definitely a keeper!

Heather was great! She found my constant knot in my shoulders and was able to work it out. I felt great that day and the rest of the week. I will be recommending her to all my family and friends!

Question and answer

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. My focus is helping people with chronic neck and back pain and also pain from injuries, old or new. My goal is to eliminate pain so they can live a healthy, happy life. It has always surprised me how long people will suffer with pain before seeking treatment. I find it very rewarding when my clients are able to enjoy activities they couldn't for so long. If you're dealing with chronic pain, check out our website and see what we can do for you!

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I truly enjoy helping people who have been in chronic pain. Nothing beats the feeling of when they are finally feeling back to normal!

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. Do I have to be completely naked to receive massage?
No, you don't have to take off more clothes than you are comfortable with to receive massage.
Some people go under the sheets without a stitch on while most others wear underwear.

I'd like get massages more often, but I can't afford it. Do I talk to my massage therapist about this?
Yes, talk to your massage therapist. Your practitioner may have a client loyalty or frequent-buyer program in place to bring down the total cost of massage, or a time-pay option to spread out the cost.

Isn't it true that massage has to hurt to do any good?
Massage does not have to hurt to help. You can gain therapeutic benefits from a relaxing massage, which doesn't hurt a bit, or you can seek out more aggressive treatment options, which can cause some discomfort. If you don't want heavy pressure, say so. Let your therapist know what feels good and what doesn't.

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. Growing up I always had back pain and problems. I saw a chiropractor during high school, but that only provided temporary relief. After talking with the massage therapist at the office, I started to receive massage and the change was amazing! That inspired me to go to massage school and help others with pain they had endured for so many years. It's truly rewarding to bring "normalcy" back into others lives through massage therapy.

Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?

A. I find it very important to take at least 6 hours of continuing education each year. It's important to stay current with the many different and changing massage modalities.
