- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I don't charge for the first 1/2 hour, whether on the telephone or at my office. During that time it is my goal is to help you understand the direction we will take to accomplish your goal. Once we get started on your case, I charge $250/hr. Generally, a retainer appropriate for the case is required.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I prefer to speak on the phone initially to determine if I can effectively address your needs. Generally, if you are sincere, I'm happy at this time to help those who just need some direction to proceed on their own. Next, if you choose to move forward with me, we schedule a meeting at my office. And get to work.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
My principal focus is on two areas of the law: family and business. In family law, I work diligently to resolve matters through negotiation and mediation, but fight fiercely for a righteous client if litigation becomes necessary. In business matters, I am proficient in the sale/purchase of businesses, merger/acquisition, and other niches, such as independent contractor issues.
