Owner Tom Menting, a CSCS, NSCA and CPT-certified personal trainer with an experience of over 15 years in the health and fitness industry, has created personal training programs, including nutritional counseling, strength training and body fat testing programs for various clients, ranging from elite athletes to new exercisers.

    Sun Fitness is the wonderful and Tom is an EXCELLENT trainer. Working with him has been the BEST experience I have had with a personal trainer. I initially began working with Tom to improve my overall physical fitness and to gain strength and mobility. Over the past three years we have worked through a number of challenges including knee surgery and stability issues. After letting my body get very depleted and sleep deprived over a very extended period of time, I began experiencing frequent bouts of uncontrollable shaking when I excercise.

    Tom has been a consumate professional in how he has approached my unique and personal training needs. He became a student of my challenges and embraced the opportunity to figure out how to keep my workouts effective. As a result, I feel like I am making progress even on my worst days. When I feel frustrated with my performance, he is always encouraging. I know I am making progress, perhaps not as quickly as I envisioned when I began, but I am stronger and working through all of my current challenges thanks to Tom. He has studied my performance, challenged me and adapted workouts as he proactively looked for solutions to keep me on track. He has personally made a huge difference in my ability to workout and continue to improve my health and well being.

    I have been working out with Tom for over 6 months, it has been great for my over all fitness as well as my golf game. I have increased my drives by 20 yards because he does specific excerises to meet your needs. There is always scientific proof behind every excerise he has me do and he can explin it to me in detail. The equipment he has is so up to date not even my health club has them. When you leave a session with Tom be ready to have a great day because the workout will motivate you and make you feel like a million dollars.

    I have been working with Tom for about six years. I am continually impressed with his knowledge and the fact that he is always learning more about fitness and training. I am an older client and he has worked with me over the years to improve my flexibility and strength while taking into consideration my limitations. Always positive and motivating! He is great to work with and I would recommend him highly to anyone who is seeking a personal trainer.

    I have worked with Tom for 2 years. He has designed a fitness program that has really helped my golf game. I am in much better shape today because of Tom. I would recommend him for anyone that needs a personal trainer.

A. Make sure the trainers have all the necessary qualifications. The list of a qualified trainer should include Nationally recognized certification, Insured, Currently CPR Certified, and References. Also, make sure their services match your goals.
