Hired on Thumbtack

Hired on Thumbtack

From the very first day of having Jerry work for us I was unhappy. He would continually show up very late or not at all without calling to let us know. He did not have use of a car which we were not aware of prior to us hiring him. He was extremely behind schedule as to when he said he could finish and in fact he never finished any of the work he said he would. We have to have to completely re-do our floors and staircase as a result of what he did. The floors were so bubbled and bad they had huge scratches within a day of us being on them. He never completed the stairway and what he did is not up to code and not safe. Also, he did not do all the spindles the same distance apart and he did not match the caps . He got stain on our carpets and got paint all over our garage floor and never made an effort to clean it up. He also miss cut the door jambs on 4 doors and never fixed them. He never cleaned up very well and left things all over the place. I have never been more dissatisfied with work done to my house.

FAQs

  • Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

One of my more recent jobs was for a school teacher in Aurora, I installed 1400 sq ft of hardwood flooring for him and rebuilt his handrail and everything turned out so nice and the clients were really happy.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

I wish that people knew that I truly love the work that I do its not just another paycheck to me its a way of life. I am a Woodworker and that is what I will always be and that is what separates great contractors from the not so great.
