FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing is dependent on the forms required for your tax situation. Each form has a price that correlates to its complexity. If you have few tax forms required then your price is low. If you have a complex situation that has many tax forms required, then your fees are correspondingly higher.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As an Income Tax Specialist I take over 24 hours of continuing education each year. I have attained the level of Enrolled Agent. This is a classification given to income tax representatives who have taken a battery of tests administered by the IRS. The tests cover issues relating to individuals, small business, partnerships, corporations, estates and trusts. The tax code is an ever changing set if rules, and I enjoy keeping up with these changes each year.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I became an income tax specialist because I was a real estate investor. There were a lot of complicated issues on my tax return. After I gained knowledge about these and many other financial issues, I decided that I could help other people with this knowledge and over time became a full time income tax representative.
