- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've mounted more than 16,000 TVs in the Denver metro area and have TV mounting certification through Chief mounts as well as several other companies and services. I used to work for DirecTV, Comcast, several custom audio visual installation services as a technician, I was district trainer for geek squad home theater services, I am certified to program lighting and shade automation for lutron as well as for GE as well as for Logitech as well as for RTI and URC. I've also installed more than a thousand video doorbells I'm probably another couple thousand security cameras.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My first job when I moved to Colorado 17 years ago was hanging 360 TVs at the Broadmoor hotel renovation in Colorado springs. I have since mounted more than 16,000 TVs in the Denver metro area
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I always appreciate a good challenge and recently was contacted by a client who had a 75-in TV installed improperly by another local service, and has almost fallen off the wall by the time I arrived. was able to remove the TV and mounts and was able to repair the mount reattach and safely secure to the wall. even weight tested it for double the weight of the TV and then rehang the TV for the customer. job completed in 1.5 hours, We typically complete standard TV mounting installations in about 30 minutes to 45 minutes.
