Introduction: I work hard to make sure that my cinematography services feel as personal as possible. All of my work begins with conversations in which my clients and I get to know each other a bit. For weddings, it's important to me to find out what each clients' wedding will be like, and what style they're looking for in a wedding film. Music plays a huge part in determining the feeling behind a film, and I always bring clients in to the decision-making process around what music to use in the film. On the day of the wedding, knowing what style of music we're using will help guide the style in which I shoot. In general, I love capturing little details. Decorations, emotions, and little interactions that embody the feeling of being there on the wedding day are my favorite things to film. Every wedding is different, and I like to let the shooting process emerge organically as the day unfolds. I love weddings. Finding someone to spend your life with is one of the most joyful things that happens in life. I'm honored and moved to be a part of such an important day for so many people.

Working with Sean was a great experience. He met me two days before the wedding at our venue to make sure all of the equipment met his needs for the day of. He also spent time with me on the phone talking about our vision for the footage and what we wanted from the final product. All of this clearly showed a commitment to us as clients and a commitment to his vision and work. When the final product came our way, he even took additional notes and went back to the drawing board when we realized some of our family was missing from the video. We cried from start to finish watching the final product. It beautifully captured the joy of the day and he focused in on so many of the little details that meant the world to us. Any bride and groom would be lucky to work with Sean!

Sean absolutely went above and beyond all of our expectations for our wedding video! He is truly amazing at what he does. Sean was great throughout the entire process - he was never pushy and we felt very comfortable working with him. We're super happy with how our video turned out - we chose Sean because his videos weren't cheesy or cringe-worthy and our video did not disappoint. It was beautiful, captured the day and made us look better than we actually are :)

Sean did an excellent job. From our first meeting I could tell that he cared about understanding exactly what we were looking for in our wedding video. He captured moments perfectly and most of the time I didn't even know he was there! When we received the videos he made we were blown away at the quality. We didn't plan on even hiring a videographer because we hired a photographer. After seeing the video, I can tell you that it was the best decision we made for our wedding and reception. Having those moments captured forever with people and audio and the emotion at the time. It's something you can't see in a picture. The music he put on the video was perfect for the moments he put together. I'd give Sean my recommendation for anyone looking to capture life's important moments. He is so easy to work with and, again, he truly cares about doing an amazing job. Thank you Sean!!

Simply spectacular! From the first conversation with Sean, we were set at ease by his calm demeanor. We planned our wedding at a distance and didn't actually meet Sean in person until a short time before our wedding. We sat down over coffee and went through every possible moment we wanted captured on our big day. Sean went above and beyond our expectations!! We just finished watching all of our wedding videos and were amazed by his attention to detail and ability to capture our style, as we had hoped. What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BA in film production from Elon University, which I earned in 2006. I opened Rennergy Productions in 2007, and since then I have worked as a media developer at several higher education institutions.
