Question and answer
Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. If you want to have fun, get some awesome photography, and get amazing customer service then I'm your photographer. I work in Denver and surround areas in Colorado. Getting married in an exotic destination? I love to travel and have photographed wedding all over the world too!
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. The photography session is the fun and easy part of my job. I get to spend a couple hours with cool people and do what I love. What most people don't understand is there is so much more that goes into running a successful photography business. Photo editing, managing customer relationships, marketing, accounting, and continuing education take up 90% off my time. Oh, and to get those amazing photos, I have invested thousands of dollars in top of the line camera equipment and software.
Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?
A. The consumer should first make sure that the type of service or photography they are looking for is a specialty of the professional and view their online profile to see if it's what they are after. You should also try to get to know your photographer to see if they are the type of person you would want to spend a lot of time with. If you're hiring a wedding photographer, that photographer will be with you most of the day. It would really stink if you didn't like them! You should also ask what to expect after the session is complete. What products will you receive? Are your photos edited and retouched? Can you make your own prints? When will you deliver my images?
