Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Ask them for examples of their previous work and make sure the quality that you see in their portfolio is what you want, if not then move on. Be real, video production can be done for cheap but it is going to look cheap. If you want Hollywood, then be ready to pay Hollywood prices.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. The camera, lights & microphone do matter, but at the end of the day look at the quality of the work they produce. Doesn't matter what type of gear they have if they can't put your vision in a video.
Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?
A. What does the price include? How many proofs or rounds of edits are allowed on the video? Does this include motion graphics or just video, etc.?
Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?
A. What do you want the video to do? What is your budget? What do you want the video to look like (Examples are appreciated)?
