I spoke with Rodney and met with him to discuss his services to mitigate the smoke in my friends truck.
He is a very nice person. However, he wasn't able to provide me with any completed vehicles to look at. I spoke with one of his references on the phone during our initial meeting. I heard him say, "I give him my overflow work". To me that said, he's not his first choice. To that end, I wanted to give Rodney an opportunity to work for me. So, the next day I stopped by his shop to look at the vehicle he was working on. WHen I called to confirm the time, he said he hadn't gotten there at 9 AM as discussed, and therefore, the truck wasn't done. He was going to start work on it around noon that day. When I inquired as to the finished product, I heard him say "remember that the vehicle is 30 years old." That made me feel unsure about what I would experience. In my experience, the age of a vehicle has nothing to do with the quality of work you are able to provide. I decided to go elsewhere.– Emmy
