- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $120/month for three 30-minute online or in person lessons and access between lessons for video submissions for feedback and questions/clarifications.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We'll set up a time and discuss musical goals and needs via email. Then, either online or in-person, our first lesson is a sort of meet-and-greet to decide what materials and course of action we'll use. After that, we're off to the joy of discovering how to play!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a B.M. from the University of Idaho, and a M.M. from Colorado State University in double bass performance. I've taught at Front Range Community College, Casper College, and the UIdaho prep division in addition to frequent masterclasses and maintaining a private studio. I'm also a gigging musician, so I have the advantage of a real world perspective for music and the music business' many challenges.
