I have been in real estate full-time since 1993 so I don't know much else. I do real estate investments of many sorts. I have extensive experience with bank foreclosures and REOs. My primary line of work is residential real estate sales.

I specialize in great customer service, thus, over 90% of my real estate clients are repeat customers or referrals. Relying on referrals and past clients affords me more time to spend with my clients rather than marketing to find more business. This translates to better customer service and better results for all parties involved.

I am a certified negotiation expert; fewer than 1% of all real estate agents hold this certification. I am also a seniors real estate specialist, sellers representative specialist, and an accredited buyers representative.

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. Full service residential sales for buyers and sellers. Limited services are available as sometimes buyers already know what home they want but still want help and professional representation and some sellers only want partial services.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. You are joining together with an agent as a team, make sure you get along and like each other. Great negotiation skills is a huge thing too.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. For Home Buyers: Make sure to work with a mortgage lender who has extensive experience. Mortgage loans are more difficult to get in today’s times than in the past and it is sure to stay this way for the near future. However, a great mortgage lender who works in the mortgage business full time - not part time - is essential to get you the best loan at the best terms. Most importantly, an experienced lender will actually be able to complete your loan in time for the closing so you can achieve what you want, buy your new home.

For Home Sellers: Do your homework when hiring a real estate agent and remember that the name of the company your agent works for is not a guarantee for success. When you hire a real estate agent you are hiring the agent, not their company. As with most any line of work, there are people who do great work and others who do not at the same company.

Your other homework will be to actually see reports on what kind of advertising exposure your house will be receiving. To sell a property it must be marketed extensively in today’s times. Just a sign and an MLS input will simply not sell a house. Further, don;t be afraid to ask specific questions. Will you receive weekly reports on what activity is happening on your house? Will you be working directly with the real estate agent or an assistant who is not licensed in real estate? How many homes has your real estate agent actually sold? Experience is a paramount key to a successful sale.

While all of this may seem a bit daunting, the real estate market is moving forward and no longer at a stand still. Many experts are saying that the real estate market is at or neat the bottom so this i actually an exciting time to be exploring your real estate options!
