Gigi Rosella Terinoni is a licensed acupuncturist, herbalist, and yoga instructor practicing in Louisville, Colorado at the Dova Center. She worked at Exempla Good Samaritan hospital in their Integrated Medicine clinic where she has hospital privileges to treat labor and delivery and in-patients.
Gigi is licensed with the state boards of Colorado and California, and is also certified in acupuncture and Chinese herbology with the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). Gigi received her Masters degree in traditional Chinese medicine from Five Branches Institute in Santa Cruz, California.
She received certification in Clean Needle Techniques from the Council of Colleges of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She also received her certificate in massage therapy from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego, California. She holds an MA in anthropology and a BA in sociology and nthropology.
Gigi is a member of the California State Oriental Medical Association (CSOMA) and the Acupuncture, American Oriental Medicine Alliance (AOMA), Acupuncture Association of Colorado (AAC) .
Gigi's clinical experience includes successfully diagnosing and treating a wide variety of health conditions, including: emotional, spiritual, and physical imbalances related to puberty, hormone fluctuation, infertility, pregnancy, postpartum, menopause, post-surgical recovery, post-traumatic stress disorder, migraine headaches, digestive disorders, depression, dermatological disorders, Hepatitis B and C, drug and alcohol addiction, paralysis, and pain management.
Also, she continues to provide herbal prescriptions (loose and patent forms), counseling on health and dietary issues, conducting extensive patient history intakes, follow-up treatments, and offers patient referrals to other complementary and western medical modality providers, as needed.
Gigi compassionately works with her patients to reach their goals and optimal health, and to live as dynamically as possible.
