Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.
A. Our most common jobs lately are incorporating new companies and setting up their QuickBooks file(s). We prepare documents for all company types from sole proprietors and LLC's to S and C corporations. This also usually includes setting up merchant accounts for our customers to accept other forms of payment such as credit cards, e-checks, etc.
We also are designing several websites for these new businesses! The sites range from simple one-page contact us site to a 2500 product e-commerce site.
We LOVE helping new businesses get started! But we love helping them succeed even more!
Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Shop around. But follow your instinct. The least expensive option is not always the best choice. Hire someone you can afford, AND someone you can trust.
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. I have over 20 years of experience in business services including bookkeeping, web design and human resources. I am proficient in all Quickbooks versions, Quicken and all MS Office programs (i.e. Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Publisher, etc. as well as html and css). I am very conscientious in everything I do, personally and professionally. I believe in always providing the type of service that I would want to receive. Knowing that times are tough for everyone, I am happy to offer a sliding scale fee to meet my customers' needs.
Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A. What software do you use?
All Quickbooks versions, Quicken and all MS Office programs.
What is your rate?
I charge what you can afford. My fees are based on work volume, complexity, and access.
What does the HR stand for in your company name?
It stands for Human Resources. When I started NJHR, it was primarily HR consulting. But Bookkeeping was always a need with smaller sized companies. My business has evolved to fit most needs of the small business owner.
