Question and answer

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. Placing an advertisement in the paper might catch a reader’s attention for a moment, but an article that captures their attention will have them thinking and talking about your company for weeks– even months– to come.

This doesn’t happen by accident. Positive publicity for a business is almost always a result of strategic media pitching by PR professionals who study news trends constantly, looking for a prime opportunity to pitch their client’s company or product. If your idea or product is not relevant to a TV news program’s audience, they won’t air it. IThis is where insider knowledge comes in. It’s not just about getting your name out there, it’s about getting your name out there the right way. Part of the success of a pitch is about who your PR agency knows, but most of it comes from how and when the news pitch is presented.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I have the privilege of getting talented business owners publicity for their companies and products, and watch them grow and become successful. I also love planning events that bring attention to a good cause.

Because I used to be a reporter, I love that I can still write every day and have a say in what goes on the air or gets published in the newspapers.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. If you are a new company, you may be wondering where to place your advertising dollars. What is the best strategy to get your name and your brand out into the marketplace and how will you get your ideas products visible in the most effective way?

That’s where public relations comes in. A qualified PR team can not only publicize your company, they can also build credibility in your brand and trust in your expertise.
