FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Nearly every year, I teach as well as receive continuing mediator and legal education.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was a mediator in my family. :) As a trial attorney and judge, I was impacted by the nuance of people's story and life challenges.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Consider the likely cost of an entire divorce mediation , not an hourly rate. A home project workman charging $20 hour who takes 35 hours ($700) is not a bargain, when an experienced craftsman charging twice this hourly rate of $40 hour takes only 12 hours ($480), discovers several ways to save on needed work and instructs you on how to create tax savings of more than the entire project's cost! Attorney-trained and highly experienced mediators working with the best updated tools are vastly better "values" - although their hourly rates are likely to be substantially more.
