Question and answer

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Before hiring any plumbing contractor its important to speak with them, about services needed. Make sure the plumber knows what he's talking about.

Does the plumber have licensed and insured. Does the plumber come with references

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. To the customer flat rate pricing may appear good to the customer since they know what they have to spend up front on the job. Its actually more beneficial for the contractor, because it allows them to over charge for smaller jobs.

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. Are you licensed and insured? How long?
How long have you been a plumber?
How much will this cost? Do you feel your pricing is comparable or better then other plumbing outfitters?
Do you guarantee your work?
Do you offer a warranty? If so how long is it, and what does it cover? What doesn't it cover?
How far out are you on your schedule?
How long will it take?
Will your scheduling conflict with my evenings or weekends?
Do you have employee's?
Do you run back ground checks on employees?

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. For a remodel its important that the customer knows what it is they want. How much they are willing to invest on labor and material's.

For service its important to research different company's and get different opionions on the project, so they don't get over charged for work that doesn't really need to be done.
