All County Landscape installed pavers at my home last spring. I was initially concerned because our yard has alot of clay which retains water. There was an actual pond of water where we had removed an in-ground pool, and that was where we wanted the patio. Rich worked with us, and assured us that the water would not be a problem. He put extra rock (I forget the proper term) under the pavers, sloped the patio so the water didn't just drain into a big puddle in the yard, and moved the rain gutter drain on the house so it would drain to the side yard, away from the patio. After a rough winter, thawing snow, and lots of rain, the yard is pretty wet, but the patio looks like the day it was put in. Rich is very professional, artistic, and considerate. If I need paver work in the future, he will be my first call!

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

We offer many services there for have many ways of pricing jobs out. First we have an hourly charge for property maintenance such as mowing, leaf clean ups and plantings. We install paver and that is based on the square footage of the project, the type of paver used and any extras needed to complete the job. Drainage is based on an hourly rate plus materials and machine usage. That is pretty much it. Every time we give a quote the customer is informed how we came up with number, a list of all materials to be used and an explaination of the planning for the project at hand.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Research Research Research! Do your homework on your contractor. Get referances, look the up for licenses insurance and any certifacations they have. If they can't give you any of these or if there is questions they can't get an answer to. Then look elsewhere. A little bit of work will save you a ton of headaches later.
