- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
No, every job and customer are different. Rather than just bark out numbers at potential clients I try to price out costs to get them the most competitive rate possible.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Prior to opening my business I worked for 2 separate high end contractors that I feel lucky to have had fallen in with. The projects were either on the water or within 2 miles of it 90% of the time. We did renovations and new construction which involved framing the project, applying roofing underlayment, installing the exterior windows and door, trimming the exterior, building the necessary decks, stairs, fences, railings, pergolas and trellis' and when that was all done we would go inside
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Mostly young families, they're friends, referrals from friends and past clients. Plus I coach a youth hockey team so I get a bit business from that as well.
