FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I take clients on a case by case basis. Price vary according to complexity of return level of advise and how much the client cooperates. For individual 1040 returns I start in Connecticut and states with Income Tax starting at 100 USD, in states with no income tax (like i.e., FL) starting at 60 USD, this for very simple returns. Small businesses with a sole member LLC and over 200,000 dollars in business starting at 1,000 USD, Entities with lesser revenues I take them on a case by case basis, being complexity and time requirements my key parameters. Immigrants who are now legal, may qualify for retroactive Earned Income Credit for up to three years. I do these cases on a case by case basis. I do ITIN numbers for people wanting to do business in the USA. For many people with undocumented status, this is a way to contribute to the USA economy and pay their tax responsibilities and is well seen at the time to properly upgrade their situation in the USA. It is estimated that their economic contribution to the USA economy is over 700 Billion USD per year. I generally charge 100 USD for processing ITINs. For consulting clients I charge 1000 per hour plus expenses, first hour free, and then phase out retainer for commissions or royalties once the deal start to produce. I accept shares for publicly traded companies. As a consultant for a variety of businesses I subcontract expertise, from law, engineering, finance, economics and more locally and internationally. I also travel. For traders and brokers I can assist in your negotiations or remain a silent partner in the background. For Headhunting assignments I charge a retainer and a placement fee. My fees range fro 20% to 50% of the total yearly compensation, is some case plus expenses, all depending on the complexity and potential for time consumption of the search. I distribute my charges as one third as a retainer, one third when viable candidates are submitted for interview and one third at hiring. My experience has been headhunting for bank presidents and board members. I split with other headhunters.
