1) Did not turn up for scheduled appointment
2) Did not let me know before time that they would not turn up
3) Did not call me back even after I contacted Thumbtack support.
I needed cleaning on an apartment I was moving out of. I had a tight schedule so I needed some one for a particular day. Got a good price and agreed to start 12PM the next day and be done by 4PM. I called the morning of the appointment and got a confirmation they had to move it back to 1PM, which was fine. I waited for half an hour at the place before getting a text saying they need to cancel and reschedule. I would have appreciated at least a call letting me know specific reasons they had to drop out on an appointment but all I got was a text. I left them a voicemail but got no reply so I contacted the Thumbtack support network. They got in touch and Raniqua promised to call me shortly. Waited for over an hour and still not call.
I would expect some level of respect from people who post on Thumbtack and at least the decency to give me a call before hand on why they can't make it to an appointment.
I am now stuck with no cleaner and a house inspection in an hour.
I would highly caution anyone who is looking for services from this company.
