Events Done Right Connecticut is your one stop shop! Let us do the work! When you come to us with an idea we can take it to the next level and make sure that you get to enjoy your event. We can make all the elements of your event coordinate: cake & other sweets, decorations, invitations, party favors, corsages, capias, centerpieces, party bags, etc. No need to run around to a million stores, wait for numerous packages to be delivered or meet with tons of different vendors and hope that everyone gets it right. I love creating something special just for that person. When I sit down with a client, they may start to tell me that they are not very creative, Know exactly what they want or they just start throwing out ideas that they didn't even know they had. Its our job to take those jumbled ideas and turn them into something great! The final product surprises them most of the time and their enjoyment is priceless.

My first experience with her cakes was ok for my son's birthday a few years ago. For my son's 1st birthday party this last Saturday, I was so disappointed with the quality of the cake. It looked like a 5 year old child did it. I gave her a picture of what I wanted and she said she was able to do it. We agreed that only the decorations on the cake would be fondant and the rest frosting which she did but the quality did not match the picture of the cake I wanted. She made me go downstairs when she delivered the cake and it was a dark and snowy night so I was not able to see the cake properly until I went upstairs. When I saw the cake I was completely disappointed and angry because the cake was nothing what I wanted it to be and the smash cake was even worse. It looked like a messed up clown a 5 year old did when I ordered a mustache smash cake because that was the theme of my son's 1st birthday. The colors she used did not even match the party decorations I had. I was unable to serve the cake because it was not what I wanted and was embarrassed to serve something so horrible and low quality. She offered to make the cake over but I so was upset that I didn't want her to rush and make me another horrible cake. Never again will I order or refer someone to her to do cakes ever again. I heard that she said I wanted a free cake, if that was the case I would have gave her the cake and got my money back. I ended up losing money and cake.

It's always a pleasure working with Lele! She has a true talent. Her creations are far from your average. Lele has complete several cakes for me as well as members of my family. I wouldn't recommend anyone else. Cakes were always completed on time. She listened to my ideas and incorporated some of her own. Needless to say, I was never disappointed. Oh and the taste... Amazing! Yes, I will be a customer for life!

I am always on youtube or other websites taking classes and watching the masters work and trying to hone my skills everyday.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
It happened by accident but it was the best accident that I have ever been in!
What types of customers have you worked with?
The most common have become Baby Shower cakes and Birthday Cakes, however we love doing new and interesting things. So if it is a retirement, 50th wedding anniversary or even to celebrate a first tooth....we are there for you.
